Alice Paul- Strategist, Feminist, Suffragist​​
 ​​       Alice Paul took on the issue of votes for women, an issue in which three generations of American Women had failed to win.  
         Paul was a woman who came from a prosperous family and left America to discover the means to accomplish her goals in England.  Returning, she began a war for the Rights of Women which remains unfinished today.  Learn more about her remarkable life and work at the Alice Paul Institute.
            Both Mohandas K. Gandhi and Caesar Chavez studied her approaches to political and social change.  She was the founder of the best of modern social change.
